Default Another Carter/Edelbrock AFB question

IIRC, the Edelbrock carb in my ’77 Camaro has “Weber” stamped on the side. Was Weber involved in the AFB design or has Edelbrock outsourced some manufacturing to Weber, hence the stamp?

Weber also made the Edelbrock QJets, which were recently -- and sadly -- discontinued. (The answer to your question is in there...)
