Try the Tire Rack. But,this warning was posted there:
"Due to the dramatic friction levels produced by this product to achieve "race-level" braking, rotor wear, noise, dust, and pad life may be affected." Heh.
I used to run "metallic" pads in autocross years ago.I knew they would affect the rotors....but that was racing...stock pads are adequate for street use...just my two cents.

Yup....right on teh big bucks...plus running metalics, you have to have them hot for the pads to be affective.

Look for Megladon's brake post.
ZIP has organic pads on sale ... $10 an axle ... $20 total.

Ceramic advantages - last longer, perhaps less fading under heavy hot braking.
disadvantages - eats your rotors.

Lots of good group purchase deals here:

I like to mix it up. I use semi-met up front and organic on the rears. Very happy with cars stopping ability, and pretty quiet. I used Bendix Brakes. Regardless of heat range I am in I find this combo seems to work very well. Contrary to marketing claimes I have found ceramic materials to fade sooner than most quality semi mets in a high heat applications, actually I have seen them self destruct and crack in high heat applications. I can tell you I am no autocross racer but am no gentle foot either. I have an 80 with original rotors with rivits.

They are too hard on the rotors. The rotors become consumable and like GDaina said they require heat to work so that one quick panic stop is not as effective as organic pads.
