Is that primer or are you changing the color? Don't get to friendly with that painter, cause he's not going to live long with a dust mask versus a resperator.

That is a fact about not living long without a resperator. Was that diamont primer on the vette? I use sherwin williams epoxy primers. I get it free from work. I figure if it is good enough for 30 million dollar aircraft and doesn't have adhesion problems with all of the flexing and heat cycles aircraft go through it must last long enough for a vette. Not to mention there are few vettes the travel at 500 to mach speed.

he used a yellow epoxy primer, in the pic he is applying a base coat for the silver. not sure what base coat is though but I watched him mix it and was a 2 part product
