Hey guys/gals im new to the forum and i just finished up my grandpas corvette but i cant seem to figuer out how to control the hi-beam, low beam lights, i know u pull the leaver all the way out for the headlights but how do you turn off the brights,on my 80 trans am, theres a lever on the steering column, is it the same for a 71 Corvette?? Thanks
There's supposed to be a pedal that you push that has a button under it that will make the headlights bright or dim (all the way to the bottom left of the driver's side pedal area)! Hey man.. I'm with you on this one, I had no idea how the hell they worked - my parents told me thats how all the older cars used to work.. it surely helps for flashing someone if you want to let them turn in front of you!! I thought that was the coolest thing ever!
