Default Stock heads: Which header gaskets to use?
Stock '74 350...factory shorty headers.

Square port, oval port, round port, d-port?

1.36", 1.5", 1.75"?

3/4" bolts, 1" bolts?

Yes. I believe they were available in '81? I'm fitting them on my '74.

OK...allow me to re-phrase the question:

Stock '74 350...shorty headers.

Square port, oval port, round port, d-port?

1.36", 1.5", 1.75"?

3/4" bolts, 1" bolts?

There were no gaskets from the factory...do you need them now?

Square port will only seal on square port heads, round port will seal on just about anything.
