I did it on my '78 last year and yours should be the same one. It's not hard at all. Just remove the old one and replace the new one that you had bench bleeding first. What meen bench bleeding ? you put your master cylinder in a bench vise and fill it with brake fluid. Most of the time the master cylinder come with two smal hose that you screw on where you normaly screw the brake lines.put the two hoses in the fluid cup so that the fluid goes back in the cup. Use something to push on the cylinder of the M.C. so this way you wil remove the air in the MC do it slowly until you don't see any air leaving the hose. When it's done you just put it back on the car and all you have to do is to bleed each calliper starting from the right rear wheels after the left rear ,the right front and the last the left front. It's not hard and it doesn't take time. anyone can do it.

If you did not run your MC dry at any time, you might be able to just bench bleed the new MC and install it. When you remove the old ones, the lines should still be full of fluid. So all that you will need to do is to install the bench bled MC and before you tighten the lines, leave them loose and pump it a couple of times to allow any air to escape. Be sure to put some rags around the fittings to catch the fluid. Otherwise you will have the fluid everywhere.
