Holley 4150 750 Worth saving?
It looks pretty beat up, but came off of a running car. However, the mechanic said that the baseplate was warped. I know I can buy a new baseplate for somewhere around $150, but is this carb worth it, not knowing what other problems it may have?

not worth it in my opinion
replace the carb with a Barry Grant speed demon 750 which has a billet base plate and billet metering blocks. More easily tuned as I understand it. It looks way cooler than a Holley too.
