Waiting for VanSteel to send me some Powder Coated control arms. And Tie Rod Ends. And Sway Bar ....hmmm ... here's pics to show the teardown process and the dismembering of the fan shroud

Yeah the Fan Shroud can be a PITA. I hope I dont have to remove mine when I do the front suspension. If I do I most likely will just take the bolts out of the radiator support and move it forward a few inches. Hopefully anyways.

Go down and buy an 11/16" crow foot wrench in 1/2" or 3/8" drive.

That will enable you to get to the pesky upper A-arm nuts without pulling the shroud.

Getting the bolts out is a different story. Just finished bolting my rebuilt suspension on yesterday. Let me know if you guys have any questions...

Wow, I didn't have to take the shroud or hood off to remove the upper arms. I've heard others have. Had a bit of trouble around the alternator, that's all.

i just had to pull off my pullies and unbolt my fan shroud to get it out but i have heard of others having trouble getting theirs out. everything is case by case on vettes as im finding out myself. very good pictures though and keep us updated.
