Disturbing to find on a brand new modern transmission, IMHO. Is there a torque factor from Tremec that can be checked?
You should contact Keisler they made the kit they sent to you for good money and should make it good. Maybe even compensate you and the others for there trouble. After all you did pay good coin for the kit.
Keisler said to torque bolts to 50 ft-lbs.
If it still leaks, send the transmission back to them.
That sucks!
Well if you are going to send your trans back have them send you a new one in advance so that you can install it when you take the old one out so you can still drive your car. And also have them pay for the freight on both items.

If the K guys remove and replace the tails, then leaks are caused by them. The factory TKO's use 51813 Permetex. If the tails are leaking from units where the tails have never been removed then it's really a Tremec issue. In all fairness to Keisler you can't expect a reseller to cover a manufacturers warranty problems. No reseller does. Try and get something simple as a Accel coil exchanged for example!
51813 is a clear red anerobic sealant. We have seen factory units leak. I don't sell these transmissions basically because I have better things to do then inherit warranty issues with something you barely profit from. My 2 cents....

since the K guys modify the shifter housing for their shifter location I gotta assume they do remove the tailshaft to make that modification. but I agree if they do not then its a tremec issue and not a keisler issue.
However I would be more inclined to repair it myself than to spend weeks waiting for a replacement (or repaired) transmission.

Keisler has on there web site that they do remove it and customize it for there kit. So yes it is Keisler that has to stand for this warranty service.
If a person can just tighten the bolts to the recommended specs and stop the leak that is great even though this should have been done by Keisler. But if you have to remove the tail shaft to replace the seal then that might have a negative impact on the warranty of the gear box. But that is up to Keisler as they are responsible for the warranty on the gear box due to there modifications.
When a trans part that is sealed with a sealant, in place of a gasket, tightening bolts more, won't promote a seal. It must be tightened correctly on the first try. Especially if you are using 51813 Permetex.
My TKO leaked out the top in 5th gear. It was a bad seal. Keisler sent to me all the directions, parts and sealer to have a good tranny men here in South Florida to do the repairs. When it was finished and tested. I sent the bill back to Keisler. They reimbursed me. So I can't really complane. They stood behind there product.

The top side leaks were a problem from the factory which Keilser Engineering identified and then alerted Tremec who took immediate action to correct, so top side leaks are history.
Leaking 5 speed from Keisler
Has anyone else had problems with leaks?
My friends is leaking between the tail shaft and the main body.
If your tranny is still leaking, please call our tech line. You may have to send it back to us. If that is the case, we will pay the shipping both ways.
Thank you for your business.

Keisler 5 Speed Vette #001 !
Is there anything the rest of us Keisler users can do to prevent this from happening? i.e. re-torquing some bolts, using different additives, etc. Unfortunately, my transmission still isn't installed but I'm ready to do it in a few days and would like to prevent a similar occurrence...
