Very popular topic. Have been lots of posts on the forum. Try a search first. These links might help you out. Briefly you'll probably need to replace the radiator & shroud, hood, front springs and all those pulley's.

Hard? No it wasn't hard and this was my very first complete engine rebuild and swap. Its time consuming and expensive.

my 69' vert came as 350....now it's a 461...popular swap..but it is time consuming and expensive. Nothing from the small will except the dis.and starter will work. Like the previous post, rad.,fan shroud, springs, trans, (unless you have a turbo 400),power steering, pullys, rad. overflow, and many other little odds and ends. But, for me it was well worth the time and effort. Nothing in this world like a built big block vette.......
