hood & nose alignment
Hi Y'all. Enough lurking,time to join in. My hood is lower than myfront end.Could this be because of the rad support that I have to replace? I noticed there is a brace hanging down there.Support brace for nose? Also,can I get the throwout bearing in with just the trans. out,or does the bellhousing have to come out too? Thanx in advance.VUEGO

There is a steel rod support brace up under the nose which runs from the bottom of the radiator support forward. Poor adjustment can cause the upper valance panel to be higher than the hood. If the hood is not too low, you can shim beneath the hood hinges on the inner fender panels.
