Sun visor
My driver side sunvisor does not stay up as I drive. I have been trying to figure out how to remove it to check for broken or worn out links. Is there a certain trick to remove the visor? It is a telescoping visor for an 82 crossfire C3.

My car scattered across three counties at the moment so I can't go out and check but I think there is a clip that holds the visor rod into the elbow that goes into the windshield. Remove that clip and the rod comes off. The bushing inside there wears out and needs to be replaced. On some there is a metal clip inside the visor that holds the rod. Find the metal part and squeeze it with padded jaw pliers and it will hold a little better. Naturally the assembly manual doesn't show this. Or if you pull real hard it comes off. Then you risk breaking hard to replace parts.
