Default Removing ignition shields for 69

I just purchased 69 and all the shielding is in place. Looks like you have to remove bolts from the ehaust manifold and remove brackets to take off? Are there any magic words I'm not saying. Seems fairly complex just to pull a plug.

Thanks

You do need to remove the 2 intake bolts to take off the shielding box. But you don't need to remove to get a plug out.

You should not remove any manifold bolts to change plugs (or event the distributor). There should be wing nuts on each of the four small shields. The front two have two each, one of the rears has two, and the other has three (the last one connects to a j-nut on the vertical shield). You can even change the distrubutor without removing the main shield if you wanted to do that.
