Default Fuel Filter Location

Quick Questions , Where is the fuel filter on a 1980 corvette ? Is it in the carb ? Is there two ? I followed the line the whole way back and can't find it.

It should be in the carb, right where the fuel line attaches. Be careful reinstalling the big nut, they are easy to strip. Joe

shutting off when hot would indicate perculation ,or maybe a bad coil...
