Remove Air Conditioner stuff?
I am trying to work a lot of little bug out of my 79 L-82. One of the previous owners removed the AC compressor and left the hoses dangling and the condenser, drier and related stuff in place. I live in Spokane Washington, so I really don’t need AC for the 2 days it is above 85, beside what are T-tops for. I would like to remove all the AC stuff. Does any one have any tips or see any related problems?

You can get an earlier (68 up) outside fan box for heater only. You may have to do some patching to cover some holes. If you want a heater-only inside box it's no problem to find an earlier box, but the controls are hard to find. If you don't want a heater either than it would be easier to remove the whole thing. If it was me, I would keep everything for the next owner. Good A/C parts are getting harder to find. Also if it was me, I'd put the compressor back-it will help with defrost.
