Need a New Front Clip?
Yesterday I removed the headlight assembly on my 68 vert and noticed that the aluminum or pot metal that the assemblies attach to is completely broke in half and pushed down. It looks like the car probably went up under another car at one time, and bubba only repaired the fiberglass. No wonder my lights bounced all over the place! The front of the hood also sits about 1/2 inch higher than the nose. 
I'm thinking the best thing to do is to just buy a new front clip. Anyone else have a better idea? I see Mid-America has front clips for about $900. Is this a good price?
