Are you looking to go with a solid or a roller and what rpm is going to be your max. I run a 248 dur @ .050 with a .525 lift. It really starts to make power at 3500 and is still pulling strong at 7000 rpm. It is a solid Comp Cams S294. The S305 gets you into the 260 dur @ .050 and a .555 lift.
I would run something in the 230 to 235 dur @ .050 and most of them around there have a lift of .530 to .550. That would make a potent package. I have considered backing off the duration I run and run a roller of this lift and duration. It would probably give me more mid to upper range. The roller is not in the budget right now though. Home improvements ate all my Vette money this year.
