Default Squeaky ride

New 73 owner and whenever I go over a bit of rough road something is squeaking. Should I get some dry lube and spray the springs or shocks? What is a good way to find out what is causing the squeaking noise, it must be something with the suspension. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot/isolate and fix would be appreciated. On a smooth road I don't hear the noise. Thanks.

we joke about getting louder exhaust systems to hide the squeaks and rattles.....just look around and start squirting....try the rear spring also

Would it be possible that the previous owner installed poly bushing in the frontend? They've been known to cause squeeking unless they're lubed properly during installation. Even then they are not guaranteed not to squeak. That is why some owners prefer to go with rubber bushing when rebuilding the frontend. Just a thought..
