Can anyone explain to me where you adjust the length of time to were the wiper door opens and the wipers start there sweep. Right now mine starts before the wiper door is fully open and gets hung up on the wiper door. Any help would be appreciated.
There is realy no adjustment, so could it be possable that you have a small vacuum leak in one of the hoses...actuator...relay..etc.. causing the door to open too slow?
Eddie
It's possible, But the door jumps up pretty quick it doesn't look like there is any kind of delay reaching the fully open position. Someone told me that there was some kind of adjustment on the wiper motor to delay the start of the sweep. But I cant see anything.

There is a switch mounted on the firewall that prevents the wipers from starting until the wiper door is fully open. It sounds like you need to adjust the switch. In the picture you can see what looks like a bolt with a big flat head, that is what you adjust back and fourth to set when the wipers start. You want the wiper door to be just about fully open before the plunger presses in the switch to energize the wiper motor.

Jay
