we put in a new distributor with a new coil, and theres still no ignition, fuel is there and fuel pressure is there, there is electricity going to the distributor, but no ignition, what could cause this?

are you getting juice to the spark plugs? can you see an arc when yuo ground the plug wire? If so could you be 180* out ?
My brother is out working on it right now, said that he hooked up the timing light to the spark plug wire and supposedly the plug isnt getting any electricity cause when he cranks the car theres no flash. And he tried swapping it to see if it was 180 out, said that didnt change anything. Could the spark plug wires gotten melted together or something like that causing a short? It makes no sense to me, new distributor, new timing chain, new coil and spark plug wires, fuel pressure is there, electricity is going to the distributor but nothings coming out...WTF

no....if you have power going into the distributor and none coming out the problem is somewhere in that distributor, is the rotor the right size, is the dwell module hooked up right? is the coil plugged hooked up right? THE POWER SUPPLY HAS NOT BEEN HOOKED UP TO THE TACH PLUG HAS IT??? on mine the battery is closest to pass compartment and tach is closet to front of the car....
well that did nothing.....any other ideas?
The rotor and dwell module as well the coil should all be hooked up right, the distributor came fully assembled.
