Default Engine pull brackets

Can anyone tell me or have a pic, on where the pull brackets go for a 427 tri set up? I have a set of big block brackets but the fuel line is in the way for it, unless they install reverse (meaning loop in back with straight bar up front) but then all the sheilding will be covering and in the way? Thanks for any help

The front bracket wasn't used on tripower cars. The rear bracket bolts to the back of the passenger's side head. Chuck

I just dropped in my 502 BBC new from the General...

It had a plate attached to the passenger side head on the upper hole closest to the intake and on the driver side head in the same place. The plates were nothing special just a piece of 1/8 plate about 1 1/2 inches wide with two holes.

the real ticket is an engine tilter

Good question!! I don't know. I do know that when the tripower was used (400 and 435 cars), they removed the bracket because of the interference you found with the fuel lines.

Maybe somebody else knows. Maybe they put the carbs on the intake after the engine was in the frame?

4 barrel BB's still retain both brackets. Chuck

Chuck thanks again! I just do not want to break the fuel lines on the front carb! Every thing is ready for the dyno next week and dont need any complications, 84rzv500r I thought about getting one more back bracket (for the front) to drop the engine in with and removing after install! Thanks for all the input guys! Ill post the dyno results in a couple weeks!
