Hey Bob..........didn't have much time to play with it. Messed with it a little yesterday and retarded the timing, which seemed to help, but it's hard to get anything done on it with the continued hot running condition.

I still have something weird going on with my cooling system. It won't leak until engine gets very hot, but temp gage never got over 200, but the engine was hot as hell! At one point I saw water boiling out from under the intake back towards the distrib., which was weird as hell. (water ports are towards the front, and rear ones are shut off on heads, as well as on the performer intake). I shut her down and quit for the evening after that.

good to hear from you.....if it leaks when it gets really hot it makes me think you have a warped intake manifold.....it could be either leaking air or water...have you tried water wetter?

Man those look good. I sure do hope you get your car running well. I have no clue about the overheating thing. I don't really mess with the cooling part of the engine. Hope everything works out for you though. I've been following this whole thing!
