This was one of the last items that I needed to be legal at most tracks... Still need a driveshaft loop and metal brackets to hold down my battery (which is relocated to the engine compartment).
I theoretically would need half shaft loops, but nobody has ever said anything about that...
Whether they say anything or not, you should consider getting some. You'll be sorry if a u-joint lets go. Trust me on this one, I know!
I'm looking for a bolt on driveshaft loop that will work with my 3.5 inch driveshaft... There's little clearance..
I don't really think that I'll need half shaft loops.. I'm running 1480 u-joints. I've read somewhere that noone has ever broken one of those.. They withstand AT LEAST 1200 HP with stick shift and 1500+ HP with automatic... They are over twice as strong as 1350's
