Cutoff the bolt end from the bottom with a cutoff wheel. Hit it with a punch to push past the cage nut and then pull it out from the top.
Did this about 3 weeks ago. Replace the cage nut with a nut welded to a plate teh same size as the cavity it fits in OR get hold of a new cage nut and rivet it in.

.
That's what I did too. I don't think you can rivit a new cage in with the body on so I used a large washer & nut inside the body. GM uses grade 5 steel in those body mount bolts. Good stainless has the same tensil strength as grade 5 steel, so I used stainless for mine. Just grind a point onto the end for ease of install.

Check out my pics link to see a couple of pics on my #4 mounts. I did all the mounts at once. I agree with the rest.. I used a 4'' grinder, drill, punch and my 8 yr old son to crawl in and get the old cage nut out. I used pop rivets with backing plates (heres where once again my son came in handy) and fiberglass filler to make sure there were no leaks and that the plates fit well on the body.
looks easy enough what type of stainless bolts are those with the rounded heads also where do you get that urethane adhesive??
Stainless button-head 1/4-20x3/4" bolts in the drawers at Home Depot.
I'm sure any good hardware store should have something comparable.
The PL urethane adhesive is readily available at Home Depot, also.

I had to do the same.
Great idea about welding a nut to a plate the same size as the cavity!!
