Another electrical issue
JVC Radio/CD when played loud will cut out and come back as if it has a loose wire. Not the case though. If I have it playing and turn on the a/c & sometimes headlamps it will cut out & after a few seconds come back on? I replaced the circuit breaker fuse in the back of the radio with another higher load one but it still does it. It seems that any time an accessory is activated it will cause it to cut out as if a spike of current or the lack of it will cause this.. Can it be the readio ?? or should I reroute the power source from somewhere else than the fuse panal? I am getting 13-14 volts to the system .

There is a capacitor mounted on the steering column next to the ignition switch. It's purpose is to buffer electrical surges for the radio. I think GM actually refers to it as the radio capacitor.
Spark plug wires can sometimes do weird things too, but it sounds like an electrical surge problem to me.
