Guide plates?
Anyone have the parts CD (or book) that can give me the part#'s for the OEM guideplates for SB and BB chev engines? I was going to order a set of each aftermarket, but sometimes GM is cheaper and quicker. Local parts guy was put out that he'd have to look it up and I got the "I'll get back to you"... NOT! Any help is appreciated.

10111771 Pushrod Guideplate (Corvette Aluminum Head)
This non-hardened guideplate is used with Corvette aluminum cylinder head assembly P/N 10185086 and 5.7-liter HO engine assembly P/N 10185072.
Technical Notes: Use with self-aligning rocker arm P/N 10089648. These guide plates should not be used when using slotted tip rockers.

14011051 Pushrod Guideplate
This hardened steel guideplate is used with aluminum Bow Tie V6/90º cylinder heads with screw-in rocker arm studs.
Technical Notes: Use on cylinders #1, 2, 5 and 6. Grind guideplate to clear valve cover hold-down bolts. This guideplate is identified by the stamped number "05."

3973418 Guideplate (Cast Iron Head)
Hardened production and Bow Tie cast iron cylinder heads with screw-in studs.
Technical Notes: These guide plates should not be used when using slotted tip rockers. Pushrod slots should be .325".

This pushrod guide plate is used on all Gen V 454 and 502 engines. It is for 3/8 pushrods.
3860038 Pushrod Guideplate (3/8")
These guideplates are used on 1960-90 iron heads and all aluminum cylinder heads. The big-block Chevy's unique splayed valve design uses hardened steel pushrod guideplates to align the rocker arms with the valve stem tips. This slotted guideplate is used with 3/8" diameter pushrods. 8 required.
Technical Notes: Install with screw-in rocker stud P/N 3921912
3879620 Pushrod Guideplate (7/16")
Similar to above, for heavy-duty 7/16" diameter pushrods.
