i need a new vac can for my head lights,and i need the selector plate that shoes overdive for a 1982

I think the can is still available from GM. If not, try Dr Rebuild or Corvette Central

Are you sure the vac can is bad. Have you done the trouble shooting to verify it is bad? The reason I ask is you may be able to save yourself some money by doing a little troubleshooting. Try using this guideline. Vacuum Troubleshooting Just go to the vacuum trouble shooting link and do the part for the vac can. You may find out that you can repair the problem for about $20. Hope this helps.

i have checked the vac can out . i have found where it leaks .i tried jb weld no luck ,i tried fiberglass and resin no luck.now i just want it to work .corvette 101 helped me understand how the lights worked years ago, it should be required reading for any new c 3 owner .thanks
