Default Wheel \ tTre question.

I have a 73 w\ original american racing rims. (15 x 8)

I are going to cahnge the rims either to 17 x 8 ore 18 x 8 \ 9. Maybe 17 x8 in front and 18 x8 \ 9 on the back.

What i have problem with understanding is what offseth and backspacing i would need on rhe rims. And what tire size i can use. Because of the norwegian laws i will need to be iside 5% of the original roling diameter.

I dont want to do any modifications to the car. But i want to go as wide as posibly on the back. will 255 be okey????

Any recomendations.??? Anyone have an upset like this?? What kind of weel do you have. and where did you buy them.??

Hey dmrodco - go easy on the non-English speakers...

you have to go slow with aftermarket wheels....many of these hit the calipers.....i would make sure who ever you buy them from will work with on this...maybe buy one and try mounting it first.....lot of guys have no issues with wider tires rubbing and some guys with the same tires have rubbing issues....seems like its a real hit or miss situation.
