Well I ahve just sucessfully completed my head, cam, intake and carb change and have the engine running pretty good with a nice idle.
The only problem is that now only one headlight comes up (the passenger side one) and the other doesn't come up.
Where is a good place to start to find it, is there anything obvious that anyone can tell me?
Don't have an answer to your question, but glad to see you got everything swaped out ok. Like to hear more about it when you get a chance.
Will do, I will also post some more during and some after pics. Everything went pretty well, I haven't driven it yet since I need to adjust the throttle cable but it runs vert nice. Just need to sort out a leak od transmission fluid from one of the radiator connections and I will be done.

Check the vacuum lines at the actuator as well as at the vacuum tank (hollow front crossmember)

I will check those thanks . I was thinking that it must me something that I had pulled off the carband the old emission system because everything else I hadn't touched.
Just a wee tip while you are looking at your vacum hoses, if any of them are a bit loose put some rubber solution on the metal nozzle and slide the hose over. It should eliminate any minor vacum leaks and it doesnt have too much grip that you cant take them off again if you need to.
