The bolts I need specs for are on the front wheel. There are 3 bolts that attach the the dust shield, caliper bracket and steering arm to the steering knuckle (spindle). I looked at the AIM and Chilton book but could not find the page(s) showing this. The top bolt is fairly large and short, and the bottom two nuts and bolts are about 3" long.

Look in general info of ur Chiltons.
I'm looking at page 1-11 of my Chiltons and it lists the torque spec's for all different size and grade of bolts. Usually i can find the bolt torque spec's in AIM listed in the note tables on each page.
Good luck. cardo0
Unfortunately, I'm away from home, so I can't read them straight out of my manual, but I just assembled my spindles and I believe the spindle bolts are 70 ft-lbs, the larger top nut is 120 or 140, and I think the bolts to hold the caliper were around 50. Maybe someone else with their service manual handy can chime in.
Actually I took that home on Saturday, and used it for the other specs. I now see that it does have the torque values for the Steering Arm to spindle at 70 ft/lbs. I took a guess and torqued them at 80. Still no mention of the upper bolt which is larger. I may have to guess and take it to 110 ft/lbs.
