radiator/support question

Default radiator/support question

i had to pull the whole support unit on my 75 to get the rad out. even with it out i can't see how to sepperate the rad from the support frame. what am i missing here.

Should be two brackets at the top of the support ... 5/16 bolts
through the support into the brackets ... 1/2" wrench.

there off, sucker must just be welded on with age. trying not to destroy it even though i don't need it. oh well.

I had the same issue. The old foam insulators that surround the rad & support kinda melded together. Get a long handled scraper and wack away.
