Hi gang,
Recently installed my CD player and rebuilt the thumbwheel ac/heat controls in my '73. Everything works fine except that when I turn the ignition back to the acc postion, the park brake light comes on (very dim), the turn signals will work (again barely), and the reverse light will come on (when in reverse, and again, very dim). I have "uninstalled" the wiring for the CD player, which was connected directly to the battery, per Alpine's request, except for one switched wire to the "acc" fuse block. I have determined the problem lies in the "wiper" circuit. If I remove the wiper fuse, problem goes away. Have searched (and searched that wiper circuit and can't seem to locate the problem.
Does anybody have any ideas or had a simliar problem?
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks.

i will bet dollars to dounts you have a bad ground circuit somewhere..... i actually grounded my blower motor directly to the frame after finding the ground wire getting really warm....since you were playing with the ac controls check out any grounds that are in that circuit and make sure they are clean and in tact.
