the car has developed a new problem if I to anything but ease into the brakes there is a sudden momentary grab and the whole car with jump to the right. it's momentary only, but it's making me not drive it.
is there air in the lines or something worse? there isn't any noise that I can hear, and the effect is definitely related to the speed that the brake pedal is pressed. nail em and she jerks really hard. ihave't tried to determine how much it is speed deprndent. also, the brakes will lock pretty easy
Not much to go on.But if you got a leak on one caliper that hit pads, you would experience that.I'd pull wheels, inspect pads/calipers.But first, look at master cylinder fluid level.Might get a clue there.
My right rear leaked, but I lost pedal and had some "grabing, pulling to the left....

Are the brake hoses new? If not, they may have degraged to the point where they restrict flow. Check also that you don't have a caliper piston hanging up due to corrosion.

I don't think it 's a brake problem. I would suspect either a bad ball joint or control arm bushings.
