Took the Corvette out today for the first time after the Lars tune-up. The car ran fine, better than ever, good chrisp acceleration. Brought it home and checked the timing that Lars put into to. Went back out this evening and the car ran like a chugging Pinto. Did a quick check when I got it back in the garage; The timing is at 21deg, everything in the distributor looks ok and the plug wires still appear to be on the plugs. The engine is too hot to checkout things now, but I will tomoorw after softball practice. Hoping just a wire or plug has failed.
Don't have time to work on it after tommorrow night until Saturday evening - the bad thing is I am going/was planning to the local Corvette club show this Saturday morning to checkout their cars. Not thrilled about driving my F150 when I have a nice Corvette.
