When you flip the wiper switch, can you hear the relays in the storage compartment switching on and off? If so, your switch is good. The problem is under the hood.
Check the electric connections on the motor first.
The ground for the wiper motor shares a common ground connection point with the blower motor. If your blower motor is having any troubles, then check the ground connection. It is in the loom that runs across the top of the firewall. If that connection is good, check the actual ground that comes off of that connection.
The ground was the reason my wipers, blower motor and elec. choke quit.
I was in the same situation once, got home and discovered there was no fuse what happened to the fuse? I can't begin to guess. Popped in a fuse (I believe it's a 25) and they worked like a charm.
There is a fuse in the box for them and I do not here a relay clicking when I turn them on. How do I check to see if I am getting 12 V to the motor?
Thanks,
John

On the firewall directly behind the distributor is the wiper motor. There is a harness with, I think, three wires. Test those with a multimeter to determine if you are getting any voltage.
If your relays aren't clicking, I suspect you have a bad wiper switch. Open the storage compartment and remove the tray. On the front edge of the storage area, right behind the passenger seat you will feel 3 relays. One of them is for your wipers. Verify that all the wires are hooked up.
When I had a bad ground, I could move the switch to the different speed positions and hear the relay in the storage compartment clicking with each movement. That is what told me that my switch and relay were working fine and the problem was under the hood. I replaced the wiper motor only to discover the new one didn't work. That meant that the problem was in the wiring, not in any hardware. After following the wiring I realized that the blower motor shared a ground, and since it didn't work either, I replaced the ground and everything started working.
Where is the ground located? I'm not getting any voltage to the wiper motor. The blower works in the high position, but nothing else. I think that may be a different problem. I found the three boxes in the compartment. One has a relay and one has a pc board, the other I dont know it almost looks like a connector. Any ideas to which one is for the wipers. My car looks like a basket case. I got it last fall and they worked. Thanks for all the advise. I don't want to get caught in the rain!
