Default Supercharging sharks

Anybody out there running ant type of forced induction (supercharger not turbo) Any recomendations, advice, info. I thinking of a supercharger, but don't know which type is best. Centrifugical such as Vortec or a roots type.

The VERY best type is a twin-screw type supercharger but to the best of my knowledge they do not have one for a carbed 350 block. Id say stick with a centerfugal type, Vortec is always decent.

I saw a corvette in alberta Canada that had a Centrifical Vortec blower installed on a vbelt setup running the stock mechanical fan and fan shroud blowing through the carburetor. Tight fit, but it all fit under the stock hood and he was using a blow through carb build by the carb shop.

a centrifical blower on a vbelt? Seems like it would experience alot of slippage.

I have a new P1SC Procharger and new once-piece intercooler that I am hoping to outfit onto my car.

Space: I will just get the Universal carb kit from Procharger and customize it to work on my car. I have an L88 hood setup and electric fans, so I have already begun making room and getting the clearance needed.

Source: The Procharger P1SC will be mounted in the Alternator or AC locations, running of a RIB belt system.

Belts: I am hoping to utilize a 8 or 10 RIB to reduce slippage.

Carb Connection: I will probably go with the carb bonnet style, although I might purchase the Vortech Carb box, as I like the idea of pressurizing the box above the carb than right into the carb. I have nitrous plumbed also, so the pressurized box I would rather use than having the carb be the central point of nitro, forced air, and fuel. I also would like to use the Vortech box so I can have my fuel pump regulated to increase inline with the increase of air pressure/boost.

Carb: I curently have a demon zz4 750 carb that I will get reworked for this or just sell and get one prepped for the blow-through system.

Engine: This currently will sit on my 350, but I am prepping my forged 400 (destroked to a 377).
