Default Wilwood Superlit pics

Here are some better pics of my Superlight4 calipers and brackets.
I have 13" rotors and VBP aluminum hubs.

I can also make them fit stock rotors, but they don't fit inside the stock wheels. For that you need to use the Wilwood NDL caliper. just like a dynalite with a different mounting pattern.

17" wheel, 13" brakes, Aluminum hubs ( pass side )

Back side

double brake lines for brake line recirculation

Master clyinder plumbing. Notice the check valves and line lock

FInally some pics and they look very very nice...i like your setup. Is there a caliper that takes 1 line and works on the stock line connecting to the bracket on the frame?

he's running a recirculator setup (stewart recirculator valve) which allows brake fluid to flow so the fluid stays cooler and the system is self bleeding.

Yep. I never have to bleed the front brakes again!

Normally the calipers only require one line. You have to buy a crossover tube to add the return line.

If you look at the last pic you see to long narrow black check valves. One coming off of the line lock, one off the Tee. These are the WILWOOD recirculation valves.

Oh and they work great!

thats very cool, so is the 2nd line running off the bleed screw or do the calipers have to be set up to run like that? and what makes the fluid circulate? if you have any other pics or know of any other info, links or someplace with a diagram i would love to find out some more on this setup

I you look at the secon pic you can see the fluid return line that comes offf of the bleeders. There is a special corssover tube that replaces the two bleeders.

The return lines are connected together as shown in the bottom pic. The return line is the one with the line lock on it ( the big square black block)

Check valves make sure that when you press on the brake pedal, fluid gos in the supply line and is bloced in the return line.

When you release the pedal the pressurised fluid cannot go back up the supply line but now can go up the return line.

So this means that for each press of the brake pedal fluid is pumped through the calipers and back to the master clyinder.

Check out this link for a diagram;

What hub are you using? I know VBP makes an aluminum hub but the bolt pattern for the disc's is fairly small and uncommon.

Thanks
Chris
