1981 vette problems!!!
hi, i have a 1981 corvette and i think my engine may be flooded... i try to start it up it was running for like 1 minute (but struggling) and than it stalled and sprayed a cloud of gas out of the carburator. Then i try to start it up again it is trying to turn over but again it sprays a little gas out. i go and see what's wrong and the carburator smells like gas and it is wet with gas inside. please i need help right away!

you will have to take out the spark plugs an dry them out, you may have washed down the engine. take the dipstick out and check for gas smell, if so change the oil before trying anything.once the plugs are dry,and the cylinders have dried out (a day or so)it should start up.
