Add-on pulley question...

I'm installing A/C on my 68 and I'm looking for the "add on" pulley that would work with my original pulley. My Assembly Manual doesn't seem to provide the guidance for a L79 with A/C and P.S.

I bought an add-on pulley (3751232) but it doesn't mate with my
deep-groove crank pulley(3858533)...it sits about 3/8" above the surface.

I found the below mentioned pulley at zip products, but I'm not sure if it's the correct animal.

Sorry, can't help you. You should find a corvette used part store near you and go see them with it. You could try it before buying it.

That first add on pulley sounds like the one used on smog pump cars to run the A.I.R. system. I don't think the older cars had emissions controls so the one from ZIP might be right. Call their tech line and ask about it.

I tried calling but they were closed. I emailed them, hopefully I'll get an answer on Monday.

I did find the following website with cool info on pulleys. Note that the Camaro Z28 used a lot of Corvette parts (or vice versa?).

It looks like add-on pulley 3916385 will mate with my harmonic balancer pulley. I asked Zip if their part number was the equivalent.
