I'm looking for adjustable shocks so I can dial my car for drag racing, autocrossing and cruising. Since I love doing all those 3 activities, I'm always compromising on everything. I know the QA1 stockers would be a great choice but at 650$ +. The 200$ price tag of The RCSI look really nice if they do the job.
This is the first I've heard of them. I too hope someone in the know about these shocks will respond to your post. The price is really good for adjustable shocks.
The specially valved KYB shocks are not working well at all to control my composite spring.
I have them on my Vette, the car handles well (I also have #550 springs, glass rear spring #330), and poly bushings. I havn't taken the car on a roadcourse, but I'm very pleased thus far on the interstate and city driving.
I have run them on my 72 LT-1 and for the average Vette they are good. I am going to QA1 shocks for racing as the valving is more for the std suspension and I am running out of adjustment range for my F-41 springs (fronts at 7 out of 9 clicks, rears at 5-9 clicks depending on course conditions.) The easist way to install the front shocks is to pull out the lower mounting shaft to allow you to bottom the shocks when you go to reinstall the adjustment ****, otherwise it can be quite a fight to get the shocks into the front spring area.

I have them on my 1980. I have had them for about 2 years now. I put them on so I could adjust the rebound rate to match up with the mono rear spring. I like them a lot. Very easy to adjust the rear ones, but you have to pull the front wheels off to adjust the front shocks.

I set them at 5 for the rear and 5 for the front unless I am racing. I know that at 4 when I hit a bump I have a slight amount of rebound.
For road racing I set all 4 at 9.
I am going to try playing around with the rears only for drag racing.

Why you don´t go for Bilstein sports? Aren´t they quite widely accepted as good ones also with composite springs...I do not have them but am planning a bit towards...Now I have KYB Gas-a-justs
