Just installed my 16 inch Spal fan from Dewitts. Cost about 200 for everything.

I have it connected to a toggle switch in the winter I leave it off, with or without the fan I see 170-180 on the highway. I just leave it on since it's in the mid '90's this time of year.

I got the fan, the bracket and the wiring harness and about a mile of wire. The sending unit was also included. All the crimp on terminals and an adapter if needed for the sender to fit in the intake or heads. Probably could have done it a little cheaper but it had everything included. No running around for anything.

has anyone tried using the dual electric fan setup removed from a C5?

I haven't done any measuring, but it looks like it may just fit.

I have dual C4 fans. Cost $150. Not too loud.

By the way, C5 fans should be nice too. I've seen a mockup on a C2 and it looked great.

I am running the twin Spal's from Dewitt. There are by no means quiet, in fact these things will pull up asphalt they are so strong but I love them. With my new Griffin large core rad, the fans hardly ever come on.
