Help on tyre size for a 71
One of my buddies here in UK has just spent a lot of money having a set of 15 inch x 8.5 inch Silver Edition Torq Thrust D's imported. He has fitted 225/70/15 tryes and they are fouling at the front. Anybody can give us a tyre size that will fit and not foul? 235/60/15 for example?

I ran 245 60 15s on my car with no rubbing on the front. The tire you mention is quite a tall tire. Either 235 60 15 or 245 60 15 should work. Some are running 255 60 15s but these rubeed hard on my car which is a 72.

Most '70-'72's running 255 60 15 at various carshows I have looked at showed evidence of rubbing at the frame. I'm running 245 60 15 on the factory 8" rim and have no rubbing issues.
