i remember that there was a thread about the adjustable tie rods and rear camber rods dealing with the jam nuts backing off and the camber changing.... some people had some ideas the help prevent it but what did we all decide on...... i was going to take it apart and drill and tap a set screw into the nut..... i just don't feel like taking it all apart at this time......any other ideas that worked.....someone mentioned the use of a wire to tie it back or something........... pics would be cool..... and/or the link to that thread... i tried to search it but couldn't find it..
thanks
After I had mine aligned I drilled a small hole completely thru one end of the shaft, and tie rod end. I then put a cotter key thru it. I can still adjust it in 1/2 turn increments if need be, but I dont plan on needing much adjustment for a long time. I just did the outer ends because if it cant turn then the other end cant turn either. Haven't had any problems.
Greg.
not having problems...haven't driven it yet..prolly will next week.... just wanted to make sure i wasn't gonna have a problem with the backing out of the nuts........just a precaution..
