front springs
I am installing the 460# springs in my 77 vette. I've read alot of suggestions on cutting about a half coil the spring to get a better ride height, when i go to install the spring, only one end of the spring is going to match up to the spring pocket. Which end needs to get lined up , top or bottom?

Ok, I cut from the bottom. So i line up the top of the spring in the pocket and the bottom end of the spring because it is trimmed will be rotated back a little further in the lower pocket . Right ?

Right, the bottom won't line up at all. Just make sure the upper part is in its "groove" and up against the groove "stop". You can reach up and feel where the groove stops. Thats where the end of the spring goes.
