I have the XE268 in my 383. Likes: when I get on it it feels like the motor is going to rip itself or the tires off the car. Dislikes: Not being able to drive it.

Those pro mags are nice, I was considering them myself, a little too pricy for my blood. I opted for a set of extruded full rollers from comp. I'm running springs set at 128 closed with serrated shims to allow me to run the full 540 duration with my 1.6 rockers.

I have been running an XE274 in my 350 with 64cc heads and put down 268hp. JUST TODAY... the 383 conversion was completed with the XE274 in it. Rear wheel hp increased to 316 with torq coming in at 371.
The XE274 was a bit choppy at idle until I installed an MSD Digital6... really smoothed it out.
