Full length headers and ground clearence
The headers I have no stick down below my oil pan and scrap on stuff alot. I was wondering if there was a full length header without that issue readily available.
I have heddmans too and do not have a problem. If the headers are not coated and you find the end of the collector is handing the down you could make a cut through the collector closer to where the pipes come together, make this cut a little crooked and then rotate the two pieces until the end of the collector points higher up and in a better spot and reweld the collector back together.
My Hedman's are the lowest thing on the car and they do scrape, but my car is also lowered. I would think that if your car is not lowered, you will not have a problem. Even if it is lowered, tou just have to pay attention.
I would like a set of headers that arent the lowest thing on my car.
I have a set of SCHOENFELD headers....do a search, I know they are online....the number is 151 for Modifieds, angle or straight plugs
they are 1 5/8 tubes with 3" collector and do NOT drag any ground...
good as any, better than most....clear the rack and all other mods, no sweat....I use top with typical Moroso clips for spark wiring....

Then you may want to go with shorty headers and have the pipe run close to the floor. Personally I think the Hedman's are fine. If my car was not so freaking low there would be no problem at all. I have very few problems the way it is.

I have Dynomax Ceramacoat headers and have had no ground clearance problems. They fit over and under the z-bar for the clutch linkage and I had to dimple very slightly one tube because it was touching the z-bar. I don't think the adjustment was more than 1/16 inch so that may be unique to my car. For the money I think they are one of the best buys out there.
