Retrofit electronic distributor???
I'm and old guy. My distributor tuning experience has always been spring, weight, & vacuum fiddling. While this has always worked for me, I'm wondering if any of the majors have a fully-electronic advance system on the shelf that can be installed in a BB C3 without any major headaches.
I have Mallory & MSD on other cars, and while they put out excellent spark, they still require fiddling to tune the curve. I look through the Summit & Jegs catalogs and see descriptions of ignition boxes that just confuse the heck out of me when trying to figure out exactly what they do. I just haven't kept up on the "modern" goodies. So I figure that the CF folks can steer me in the right direction.
So what's the deal? Is there something that a real person can afford that'll drop in & give me full computer control of my timing?
Thanks for any help,
Tom
