Default Auto Tranny Heat Shield

My car came with one, but unfortunately it was in the parts box and not on the car. Is it possible to install it without removing the tranny? I was thinking maybe a couple of well placed slices might do the trick.

Any advice?

If you get all the cables and wires out of the way, you might be able
to slide the whole deal up in there. Oh - and drop the tail of the tranny down, too.
Four sharp metal tabs hold the piece up in place.
If you can locate these and get them straightened - you just
might get it.
Fortunately, I was able to install mine with the body off.

Good Luck
