Default 72 Interior Replacement

I was planning on ordering new interior today from Willcox, but when I got into color, they asked if I had light saddle or dark saddle. The trim tag shows 417, which is just listed as saddle. In the days gone by, someone had installed light saddle or buckskin seat covers and panels. All the other interior components were darker, but not real dark like a Hersey bar as Willcox described. Who has run into this on a 72 and which color is it. The dash and console both match the kick panels and steering column which are what I would call a medium to slightly lighter brown. Any suggestions? I don't want to spend a bundle trying to get all the interior to match and really don't want to dye it either.

Dark Saddle is definitely a color that was available for the 72. That is the original color my car's interior had. I later switched to Medium Saddle which was not available until 73 simply because I liked it better. I am not sure if there was a Light Saddle available or not.

There is both light and dark saddle available for your car. I personally have never seen one with the light saddle however we do carry it. I am confident you need the dark saddle. If you can email me a picture i will be able to tell for sure.
Contact us before you order. We are a supporting vendor here on the forum. We carry the exact same corvette america interiors as them.
