Default Relocating my drive train center

since i am tearing everything up on the 75 allready for the backhalf and new motor. does it make any sense to relocate the drive center down the middle of the car. is there an advantage to this or am i just opening a can of worms for no reason.

Why? GM engineered the offset drivetrain for a reason - to balance the car with a driver in it.

The other reason GM set it up off center was to be able to fit components like the steering and other accessories into the car.
